The functionality of the device RCQ3-XXX are the following :
- Wireless Switch
It’s an 4 channels wireless switch module with pairing function, it
provides maximum 4 channel signal input and maximum 4 channel
control output (bistable and monostable mode).
- Wireless Controller
It’s an 4 channels wireless controller module with pairing function, it’s
possible to control and verify the logic state (open or close) of the
Remote Module.
- Wireless Actuator
Wireless actuator for home automation, it’s possible use 1 unit as
Transmitter (controllable via RS232 serial interface) and by one or more
RX units with the possibility to switch 4 channels in bistable/monostable
mode.
The device RCQ3-XXX is based on the CC1310 device from Texas Instruments, and is available at three frequencies : 433MHz - 868MHz and 915MHz.

This device can be work also in Long Range Mode (LRM) that is a particulary encoding technique that trades data rate for sensitivity gains. These gains are achieved by digital coding. For more information you can consult this document :

WIRELESS SWITCH Functionality
Example of communication between modules A and B :
The 4 output of module A ( RL1÷RL4) is corresponding to the 4 input of module B (K1÷K4 ).
The 4 output of module B ( RL1÷RL4) is corresponding to the 4 input of module A (K1÷K4 ).
By pressing button K1 ÷ K4 of module A the outputs of module B will be activated (RL1 ÷ RL4).
By pressing button K1 ÷ K4 of module B, the outputs of module A (RL1 ÷ RL4) will be activated.
The 4 outputs can be managed in both bistable and monostable mode.
WIRELESS CONTROLLER Functionality
It is possible to check the logic status (open or closed) of four channels of the remote module.
Press T1 ÷ T4 on MODULE A, a check will be made on MODULE B (Inputs S1 ÷ S4)
f (S1 ÷ S4) = GND the A-RED led will be ON
If (S1-S4) = HIGH the A-GREEN led will be ON.
Press T1 ÷ T4 on MODULE B, a check will be made on MODULE A (Inputs S1 ÷ S4)
If (S1 ÷ S4) = GND the B-RED led will be ON
If (S1-S4) = HIGH the B-GREEN led will be ON.
If there is no communication between the modules, both LEDs (A-GREEN and A-RED) will be OFF.
WIRELESS ACTUATOR Functionality
The remote address of this device is changed from time to time via the serial interface according to which remote device you want to reach.
