Long Range 2.4 GHz Wireless Module
based on Semtech SX1281 LoRa® Transceiver
RC-SX1281 is a compact 2.4 GHz wireless transceiver
module based on the Semtech SX1281 LoRa® device.
The module integrates the RF circuitry, 52 MHz TCXO,
impedance matching network and antenna interface,
providing a complete ready-to-use solution for long-range
and ultra-low-power wireless applications.
The module is designed to minimize RF design effort and
accelerate time-to-market.
The module supports LoRa®, FLRC and (G)FSK
modulation schemes and can be easily integrated into
embedded systems through its SPI interface. Thanks to its
high receiver sensitivity and low power consumption, the
RC-SX1281 is particularly suitable for battery-powered
devices requiring reliable long-range communication.
Applications include industrial monitoring, wireless sensors,
automatic meter reading, home and building automation,
security systems, sports and fitness devices, asset tracking
and IoT networks

V_TCXO connected to VCC
pin 2 (V_TCXO) may be connected directly
to VCC. In this configuration, the TCXO
remains powered when the SX1281 enters
Sleep mode, resulting in an overall Sleep
current of approximately 1.5 mA to 2.2 mA.
External control of V_TCXO
For ultra-low-power applications, pin 2 (V_
TCXO) should be driven independently from the
main VCC supply.
In this configuration:
V_TCXO is controlled by the host system.
The TCXO current consumption is low enough
to allow direct powering from a microcontroller
GPIO pin.
Before entering Sleep mode, the host sends the
SetSleep() command and then disables V_
TCXO.
Before any TX or RX operation, the host reenables V_TCXO and waits for the TCXO
stabilization time.
This approach allows the system to achiev
